No spam. You'll only hear from us about A Certain Woman.
Purple Ladies Group exists for the woman who is capable, called, and exhausted from trying to fit into spaces that were never built for who she actually is.
"With all your getting, get understanding." — Proverbs 4:7
The PLG Framework
She's educated. Experienced. Spiritually serious. She's been in rooms most women never get access to. She's built things. She's left things. She's tried to make it work more times than she can count.
And she is tired. Not lazy-tired. Formation-tired. The kind of tired that comes from pouring yourself into spaces that were never designed to hold who you actually are.
She doesn't have language for it yet. She just knows that something is off. That the path everyone said would work hasn't worked for her. That she keeps leaving — or being left behind — while she stands at the edge of something she can almost see.
She's not broken. She's being formed. And she's finally ready to understand what that means.
"She's not the problem. The boxes are. PLG helps you stop abandoning yourself for systems that will never fully see you."
The PLG Conviction
The desert. The den. The pit. The prison. The cave. These are not detours from your calling. They are where your calling is being built. PLG helps you understand what God is doing while you are in the middle of it.
One
Joseph didn't skip the pit. He came through it knowing who he was. PLG doesn't promise you a way around the hard places. It gives you language for what God is doing inside them.
Two
The wilderness has a purpose. Understanding your season changes how you walk through it. You stop fighting the wait and start learning from it.
Three
Formation precedes visibility. Lydia was already a worshiper, already generous, already resourced before Paul ever found her. You may be further along than you think.
What Purple Ladies Group Does
PLG is a clarity and formation organization for Christian women whose calling is tied to their spiritual identity. We are not a business development center. We do not help with business plans, capital access, or hustle strategies.
What we do is harder and more essential. We help you understand yourself. Your wiring. Your season. Your formation. The patterns God has been building in you that you may not have had language for until now.
When you understand those things, decisions change. Direction clarifies. The next faithful step becomes visible. Not because we told you what to do — but because you finally know who you are and where you stand.
She doesn't leave PLG with no more desert ahead. She leaves knowing what desert she is in, why it matters, and how to walk through it without abandoning herself.
I
Understanding your season, your readiness, and where you actually are before you take another step.
II
Seeing how God has wired you to decide, lead, and build. Understanding your gifts, your alignment, and the patterns that shape you.
III
Moving from clarity into capacity. Understanding how to build from your actual foundation, not someone else's blueprint.
IV
This is not church. This is not coaching. This is formation work that takes your calling seriously as the framework for every decision you make.
Setting the Record Straight
Not This
Another program telling you to hustle harder, build your personal brand, or optimize your LinkedIn.
This
Formation work that helps you understand your wiring before you make another major move.
Not This
Business plan development, capital access, or small business support services.
This
Clarity tools that help you understand your season, your design, and your next faithful step.
Not This
A community program, a women's ministry, or a motivational experience.
This
Professional development with a spiritual foundation. Paid. Intentional. Designed for a specific kind of woman.
Not This
A shortcut past the desert, the pit, or the waiting season.
This
Language and a map for what God is doing in the hard season you are already in.
Purple Ladies Group Presents
The inaugural A Certain Woman Conference is a two-day formation experience for women who are ready to stop performing for rooms that do not see them and start walking in the fullness of who they actually are.
She was somebody before anyone knew her name. So were you.
This is not another women's conference. There are no motivational speeches, no hustle content, no generic empowerment. This is a room full of women who have done the work and are ready to do the right work — together.

Rev. Dr. Tasha M. Brown
DMin · Founder & CEO, Purple Ladies Group
Tasha Brown is a formation architect. For more than 27 years she has been doing one thing consistently — helping women understand themselves so they can walk faithfully in what God has placed in them.
Her work spans economic development, nonprofit leadership, pastoral ministry, and higher education. She has built programs, led organizations, advocated for women in rooms that did not always welcome that advocacy, and left every system that asked her to abandon herself in order to stay.
She is the woman PLG exists to serve. She built PLG because she needed it and could not find it anywhere else.
She holds a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral and Spiritual Care from McCormick Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's in Human Resource Development from Northeastern Illinois University. She is a published author and contributing scholar in the field of faith-based entrepreneurship.
