The Vision

Why Now.

You are called. You are capable. You are ready to move. But something feels off. The boxes don't fit. The language doesn't land. The path isn't clear.

A Certain Woman exists because capable women deserve formation that matches their depth.

This conference isn't about motivation or inspiration. It's about spiritual formation, strategic clarity, and the kind of community that helps you walk into your next season with confidence, conviction, and courage.

"She was somebody before anyone knew her name. And she will be somebody long after they forget it."
The Foundation of A Certain Woman

Who Should Come

This is for you.

You are a Christian woman navigating a major transition — career, calling, season, or identity.

You are building something (a business, ministry, family, or legacy) and need clarity on your next move.

You are spiritually serious and want formation that goes deeper than surface-level inspiration.

You are ready to be surrounded by women who are also called, capable, and walking into their purpose.

A Celebration

Dinner En Violette — elegant women in purple at a beautifully set table

Dinner En Violette.

An evening of elegance, community, and spiritual celebration. Women in all shades of purple gather for an unforgettable dinner experience — beautiful food, beautiful company, beautiful purpose.

This is the first annual Dinner En Violette — a tradition that will be celebrated every year as part of the A Certain Woman experience. It's an evening designed to honor the women in the room, celebrate their journeys, and mark the significance of what happens when capable women come together.

  • An elegant dinner experience designed for connection and celebration
  • Women dressed in all shades of purple — a visual declaration of identity and belonging
  • Beautiful food, meaningful conversation, and intentional community
  • Followed by a worship service that honors the sacred in the ordinary
  • A moment to pause, celebrate, and step into the next chapter

Rev. Dr. Tasha M. Brown

Founder, Purple Ladies Group

Dr. Tasha M. Brown is the founder of Purple Ladies Group, a clarity and formation organization that helps Christian women understand how they are wired to decide, lead, and build — before making major life, career, or business moves.

Through PLG's framework of seven pillars, Dr. Brown works with women who are called, capable, and ready to move — but need the diagnostic clarity to do it wisely. She knows the cost of leaping without language. And she built PLG so no woman has to pay that price again.

She is a preacher, strategist, and the certain woman in the room who helps every other woman find her footing.
